Total Time 6 minutes

Ingredients

  • 30 g Kodiak Cake pancake mix
  • 1/2 scoop protein powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 60 g unsweetened applesauce
  • 2-4 tablespoons water
  • Topping:
  • 100 g fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 12 g PB2 powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons water

Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together Kodiak Cakes pancake mix, protein powder, egg, applesauce, and just enough water to get a batter texture. Heat and lightly grease a griddle or large skillet. Pour batter onto the griddle to form two pancakes. Flip when bubbles in the batter start to pop. In a small bowl, mix 1 1/2 tablespoons water with PB2 powder to form a thin sauce.

Serve pancakes topped with sliced strawberries and drizzle the PB2 sauce over the top! Enjoy!!!

Notes

This recipe has about 16 grams of protein coming from the protein powder. You can figure out how many grams of your protein powder you need by figuring out how many grams of protein are in each gram of protein powder (protein g divided by weight in grams of one serving of protein powder). Then translate that to figure out how many grams of powder you need to get 16 grams of protein. OR enter your own ingredients in MFP to suit your needs.
